A datasheet can tell you what a button is supposed to do. It cannot tell you how it feels through the gloves your operators wear, how it behaves on your panel, or what happens after your cleaning routine. That is something you have to try for yourself. So we have made it easy to try.
The HABI Button Evaluation Kit contains the same module you would design into your product, ready to connect to a PC and configure in minutes.
What's in the box
- The HABI Button. The same sealed, dual-sensing module you would build in.
- Interface board and cables. Power and USB, so the button runs straight from your PC.
- A HABI Studio license. Set force and touch thresholds, haptics, light and sound, and feel the result on the next press.
- A HABI Docs account. Quick start, wiring, datasheet and firmware in one place.
- An engineer. One hour of remote onboarding, then support for the length of your pilot.
From your desk to your product
The kit is the first step on a short path. You start by trying the button on your desk. Then you build it into your product or a test rig, with one of our field application engineers supporting you. When the feel, light and thresholds are right for your product, you lock the configuration and move on to samples and production. The price of the kit is credited on larger orders.

Who it's for
Engineers and product teams at machine builders and OEMs where a press has to count: heavy machinery, industrial control panels, food and hygiene equipment, and the many other products where gloves, water, vibration or years of daily use make ordinary buttons a compromise.
How to get one
Ask us for the price and tell us a little about your product and application. Kits ship in 3–4 weeks, and each customer can order up to three.

The HABI Button is patent pending
The technology behind the HABI Button is now patent pending. What went into it, and why it matters to you.

Two ways to lose an input
Touch panels stop listening, mechanical buttons wear out. Why we stopped treating it as a choice.
