Application

Built for the cab.

Excavators, loaders, cranes and forestry machines are operated for long shifts, with work gloves, while the whole machine shakes. Every control in the cab has to work the first time, for the lifetime of the machine.

What goes wrong today

And what the HABI Button changes.

TodayWith the HABI Button
Missed presses through gloves

Touch panels and light-touch buttons don't read a gloved finger reliably, so operators press twice or take the glove off.

A gloved press registers

Force plus capacitive sensing reads a deliberate press through a work glove. The threshold is tuned for your glove.

Phantom presses from vibration

Bumps, vibration and an arm brushing the console can trigger functions the operator never chose.

Vibration alone does nothing

A knock or vibration only shows on the force channel, so the button ignores it.

Wear and service calls

Mechanical buttons wear out and let in water and dust over years in the field, and every failure is a service visit.

Sealed, built for years

A sealed front keeps water and dust out.
