Application

Precise input, clean surfaces.

Lab and analysis instruments are run with nitrile gloves, wiped down between uses and expected to give the same result every time. The controls have to keep up with the procedure.

What goes wrong today

And what the HABI Button changes.

Gloves and touch screens

Touch surfaces react late or not at all through gloves, so users take gloves off and break procedure.

Works with gloves on

A deliberate press registers through nitrile gloves.

Wiping starts a function

A cloth, a wipe or a spill on the panel can start something by accident.

Wiping does nothing

Liquid or a cloth on the surface is not a press. A press needs real force.

Hard to clean

Gaps around mechanical buttons collect residue and are hard to disinfect.

Flush and easy to wipe

A flush front that is quick to wipe down.
